A Moment That Changed My Life There were many moments that shaped who I am today, but there was a moment that happened when I was six or seven that changed my life. My brother is eight years older than me and he has always been a trouble maker. For the most part he was just a really bad kid. He stole things all the time, even from our parents.
At approximately 1.45pm on August 9th 2007 my life was changed forever by the doctor telling my husband. “You have cancer.” Those words in that moment set in motion a series of tests to find the root of the problem, meetings to decide the best way forward and a course of treatment to get rid of the dark shadow that is now hanging over our lives.
The reason this has changed my life is that I see what can happen when you get in the car with someone you are unfamiliar. The man that killed Chayce had been drinking and he decide to get behind the wheel of a car and drive to go on a beer run. Chayce died on the scene and the driver survived.
Moment That Changed My Life Not many people can look back in their lives and pinpoint some exact moments that changed their lives. And to find the most important moment of all those moments is a hard thing to do for most of them.
Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012. It was truly the day that changed my life. The morning started out like any other.
